Guides
First hours and a spoiler-controlled opening route. Every field note identifies its evidence and version boundary.
What this section solves
Begin here if the sequel's faster combat, open routes, or version changes make the first hours feel unclear. This volume turns the opening into a deliberate learning sequence: first establish a repeatable defensive action, then secure a loadout you understand, and only after that spend resources or push a named objective. It is designed for players who want practical direction without having later discoveries spoiled.
Read with a decision in mind
- Read Beginner Guide before committing upgrade materials.
- Use Walkthrough when you need route order or a spoiler boundary.
- Open Builds when a Shell, weapon, Harden timing, or upgrade choice blocks progress.
- Open World when the problem is a boss, navigation, healing reserve, or PC stability.

Which guide should a first-time player open?
Open the Beginner Guide first. It teaches the decisions that remain useful even if balance values change: reading recovery, using Harden during a committed action, choosing a manageable weapon, and preserving a route home. Move to the Walkthrough only when you want ordered checkpoints.
Does the walkthrough reveal the whole story?
No. The walkthrough stops at an explicit early-game boundary and labels the named destination before crossing it. It explains preparation and route logic without pretending pre-release evidence supports a complete ending path.
What if I already understand Harden?
Use the first guide as a diagnostic checklist rather than a tutorial. Test whether you can explain your safe exit, your healing rule, and why the chosen Shell and weapon work together; then jump to the relevant Builds note.
Where are boss and map answers?
Those questions live in the World volume so route claims do not get mixed with general beginner advice. The category links below take you directly to boss learning, landmark navigation, healing discipline, and PC performance.
