Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 August 2026. This policy explains what may be processed when you visit the Mortal Shell II Field Archive and how optional production services are handled.
Information processed automatically
No account, comment form, or direct profile is required. The hosting and security provider may receive an IP address, request time, requested path, browser identifiers, and diagnostic information needed to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and investigate failures. We do not sell a visitor list.
Cookies and local storage
The private preview does not intentionally place advertising or analytics cookies. A public production deployment may use limited cookies or similar storage for aggregate measurement, security, or consent preferences. Where consent is legally required, optional tags should remain disabled until that choice is recorded.
Analytics
When a production Google Analytics identifier is configured, Google Analytics may measure page views, referrers, device categories, approximate geography, and interactions so guides can be improved. Builds without that identifier do not load the analytics tag. Analytics data should be retained only as long as needed for site operations and trend comparison.
Advertising
Advertising is disabled in private preview and remains disabled unless both production mode and the advertising switch are enabled. When enabled, detail pages may show one Adsterra native advertisement; Adsterra and its partners may process device, browser, IP address and interaction data to deliver, secure and measure advertising. The archive will not intentionally use popunders, forced redirects, interstitial traps or social-bar formats.
YouTube and third-party content
Guide pages embed videos using YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain. Loading or playing an embed can still send technical information to YouTube or Google under their own policies. Steam, official publisher pages, and other cited sources are external destinations with independent privacy practices.
Data handling and choices
Security logs and aggregate reports may be processed by service providers acting for hosting, analytics, or advertising. You can block optional cookies, avoid playing embedded media, or leave through a direct source link. Requests about access, correction, or deletion can be made through the contact channel published on the production site, subject to applicable law and records we actually hold.
Contact and policy changes
Material changes will receive a new date on this page. The production site must publish a working contact channel before advertising is enabled, and this policy must be updated first if its production services differ from these disclosures.
